Dear New Entrant,

 

 

Congratulations on being accepted as a fellow BISON, the official mascot of the university! The Howard University International Pals would like to take this time to welcome you to The Mecca. You are now a part of the Howard University family!

 

 

The Howard University International Pals were founded in 1986 with the goal of helping international students in their transition to both Howard University and the United States of America. We began as a group of students who met incoming international students at the airport, and have grown into a complete support system for students coming from abroad. We provide opportunities during the school year for other students to learn about international culture, give students advice on navigating the ways of the university, and help new students feel right at home.

 

 

As an incoming student, you have already been assigned a Howard University International Pal. You will be hearing from your Pai soon, and will meet them upon your arrival at the university.
